Webinars are a fantastic way to convey information to a larger audience while still receiving real time feedback & engagement. The host controls 100% of what the audience sees and hears. Those who choose to join may listen and view the host and their presentation. Audience interaction is typically through chat, Q&A and polling which can be used to keep them engaged.

Webinars are best utilized to educate the viewers on a topic or to sell a product or service & is generally used for larger audiences (up to 1000 attendees.) Webinars are typically 60 minutes or less with first 30-45 minutes dedicated to content delivery and the remaining time for Q & A.

ITA can provide the hosting platform, programming, coordination, panelist management, production, and execution of the event. We will work with you to design a solution specific to your needs, including branding to the online platform with custom graphics and effects. Along side you, we can moderate chat, Q&A, polls, etc to keep your audience informed and engaged.

This type of meeting is designed for maximum personal interaction so, although you can have as many as 100 people, it’s best with a smaller group of 25 people or less. This is most commonly used by people within the same company, association or group.

 Tips & Tricks

Here are a few tips & tricks to ensure a successful virtual meeting

  • Have all presenters work with your technical team to test all connections & procedures the day before your meeting.

    • Consider a complete test run through of the meeting as well.

  • Prerecord all critical content beforehand and work with your production team to ensure all transitions are seamless.

  • Have a dedicated page for remote attendee’s with embedded video - streaming or prerecorded - to avoid confusion.

  • Pay attention to your lighting! It is one of the most important & most frequently overlooked components for a high quality image.

    • Even a soft white light (think sunlit window with a sheer curtain) on the presenter’s face will work wonders.

  • Place webcams at, or slightly above, eye level and make sure you are against a neutral background.

  • Use headphones and a dedicated microphone - vs your webcam’s - to reduce background noise and cross-talk.

  • Mute your microphone when not speaking to avoid unintentional interruptions.

    • ZOOM Pro-tip: Hold down your space bar to (temporarily) unmute your microphone.
